Overview

Anti-Defamation League's Heritage Society honors our alumni, friends, and members of the community who have generously remembered ADLF in their estate plans. If you would like to learn how you can leave a legacy at ADLF, or have already remembered ADLF in your plans, please contact us so that we may welcome you to the Heritage Society.

The Anti-Defamation League Foundation (ADLF), a non-profit organization, was established to support and promote the mission of the Anti-Defamation League, to "stop the defamation of the Jewish people and to secure justice and fair treatment for all." The Foundation is responsible for the management and investment of all assets gifted to it by supporters of the Anti-Defamation League, including bequests, charitable trusts, endowments and other planned gifts.

To assure that ADL's work endures into the future, and to provide a permanent source of support for all ADL programs and operations, we are in the midst of an important effort known as the Legacy Endowment Campaign – Funding for the Future (LEC – FFF). The success of the Campaign will assure that ADL remains vital and vigorous, able to carry out its critical mission even in the most challenging times.

How to Join

The following types of commitments, confirmed in writing and subject to certain restrictions, qualify you for membership in the :

• a bequest in your will or revocable trust;
• a life-income gift that names ADLF as a remainder beneficiary, such as a charitable remainder trust, a charitable gift annuity, or a pooled income fund gift;
• a charitable lead trust that provides income to ADLF for a donor’s lifetime or a term of years;
• a gift or assignment of qualified retirement plan assets, such as an IRA, 401(k) or 403(b);
• a gift of life insurance.

If you have already included ADLF in a bequest or other planned gift, we hope you will let us know by filling out the member profile form. Your willingness to be listed as a member of encourages others to follow your example. We acknowledge and respect those who wish to remain anonymous, but we urge you to let us know of your plans on a confidential basis. If you have not yet included ADLF in your plans and you would like to explore the best options for you and your family, do not hesitate to contact us. We would be glad to provide a confidential forum to discuss your options without any obligation.

In an effort to preserve your legacy for the purpose it is intended, we have chosen a few simple ways to recognize your commitment. Each new member will receive a certificate of appreciation and letter of thanks from the President of ADLF, along with a handsome recognition gift that we hope you will treasure for years to come.

In addition to these small expressions of gratitude, we hope you will allow us to recognize you as a member of the in our annual donor recognition publication. Lastly, as a member of , you will receive timely information, tips, and ongoing professional Gift Planning services from the Office of Gift Planning.
